Warden: A working title for an administrative head who is responsible for a correctional facility or correctional center.
Western Union Swiftpay Prepaid Service: A private company that the DOC contracts with to accept direct payments from offenders for deposit into DOC inmate accounts for restitution.
Whistleblower Status: Complaints made under certain state provisions that are meant to protect the reporting party from danger or threat from civil suit.
Witness: A person who is attesting the genuineness of a signature to a document by adding his/her signature.
Witnesses to Executions: Individuals who are authorized by the executive director to view executions as legal witnesses.
Wrist Restraints: Any DOC metallic or plastic device which attaches to the wrist area and holds the forearms in a fixed position.
