I have spent the last couple of years researching and writing this book about my experience and what I wish I knew prior to going away for a few years in order to help those just coming into the judicial system. Some viewers (and critics) have questioned why we created this site. Why we created a book to help those people who are ad have been sentenced to prison or jail. We would like to offer that the prison book is used for people who strive to do better for themselves as well find out how much time off a prison sentence can be earned by doing good. Because its all about bettering yourself while staying safe. You can't ask a person to make themselves a better citizen while other citizens are beating them down? Could you?
We also created this book for the families. We watched how some people would show up to a prison visiting area only to be turned away or wonder why they weren't allowed to bring certain items (like food) into the facility. So within our "How To Survive in Prison" book we included some visitation rules and what to do and not to do.
